Cardio is an incredibly important and valuable part of your health, wellness and weight loss efforts.
When done properly, cardio can do the following things for you:
- Improve how your body responds to carbs
- Boost mood
- Reduce your risk of heart disease and diabetes
- Promote fat loss
- Foster recovery from other workouts
- Improve heart health
The key here is that your cardio needs to be done properly.

And, you might be wondering why it would be a problem if you were doing cardio “wrong”, right?
Doing your cardio wrong could cause any or all of the following:
- Pronounced hunger and food cravings
- Chronic fatigue and exhaustion
- Hormonal imbalance
- Lack of results
- Loss of muscle
- Elevated cortisol (the stress hormone)
