5 Essential Strength MovesOct 09, 2017
There are some directional actions that you take EVERYDAY that are really important to reinforce and strengthen. It's very important to strengthen these in an effort to avoid injury, improve metabolism, reduce aches and pains, increase stamina, and make your bod look great!
Think of this way: in order to feel your best during your normal daily life, it's incredibly important to keep your muscles strong and in alignment.
These five exercises are absolutely critical in my opinion. When I am creating strength training programs for my clients I always include these movement patterns, and often these very exercises. You want to include these exercises in your strength training program every week. They can be part of a larger, more developed a program, or they could be the only moves that you do each week. It really just depends on where you are in your journey of strength training.
If you have 4- 6 months of consistent strength training experience, add these five moves into your existing strength training program, in addition to any other moves that you are already doing.
If you are brand new to strength training, you can start by completing these five moves only twice per week. Then as you get more experience, you can add additional exercises. Aim to complete three sets of each move for 12 repetitions each with 30 seconds of rest between sets.
