Strength Without Stress

A strength training plan with minimum recovery so you get maximum strength without the stress of confusing, elaborate, or overly intense workouts.


I created this brand new 4 week strength program when I was struggling with my health and needed a plan that would maintain my valuable lean muscle mass without causing the inflammation that was making me feel tired and achey. 

What you may not know is that the process of becoming stronger and more fit creates inflammation. It is through this inflammatory process that your body responds to the "stress" of workouts by recovering, repairing, and remodeling tissues into better ones.

Inflammation is linked with nearly every disease including diabetes, stroke, dementia, and autoimmune disorders. While you can't completely avoid the inflammation that comes from your stressful daily life, you can train your body to manage it better. 

The wrong workout adds to dangerous inflammation. The right workout improves your body's tolerance for inflammation while also creating a stronger, more resilient body. 

Strength Without Stress is a 4 week "moderate progressive overload" program to help you feel great while you're on the path to building lean muscle, improving body composition, and fortifying your fitness.

This 4 week strength training plan uses my proven methods to reduce extended recovery from workouts by minimizing the stress on your central nervous system. I've identified key exercises that emphasize the "concentric" phase of movement so you build strength without post workout fatigue. I created this program to also minimize the number of exercises that require a longer "eccentric" phase of movement. This means you'll experience less soreness from workouts and recover faster!

This program is designed to reduce the systemic inflammation that is caused by overly intense or lengthy workouts. It does this by providing the "minimum effective dose" of important exercises like deadlifts and lunges where more time is spent in the eccentric phase of movement. This means you'll get stronger with less stress to your mind and body!
